Dr. Kamal Lamichhane has held the position of Associate Professor at the Division of Disability Sciences, Institute of Human Sciences at the University of Tsukuba in Japan since 2015. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Researcher at the University of Tokyo. Prior to his current role, Dr. Lamichhane worked as a Research Fellow at the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and conducted research at the intersection of disability and gender and its implications for education and employment. Focusing on Inclusive Development with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the forefront, his primary research areas encompass Disability Studies, Inclusive Education, Education Policy, and Employment.
