Justin Stone

Justin Stone is the Associate Director of the AFT Innovation Fund, an entity of the AFT that makes grants to affiliates to support educator-led, collaborative work in schools and school systems. In addition to managing day-to-day operations and funding and support cycles for the Innovation Fund, Justin helps the AFT leadership set the priorities of the fund to match the challenges of the workforce and the dynamics of public education. He has provided technical assistance and additional resources to over 150 grantees, including a new round of grantmaking around education technology and AI. He has expertise in compensation, career development, and collective bargaining. His background is in secondary English education, education policy, and social foundations.
