At Oxford University’s Refugee Studies Centre, Audrey Singer delivered the Astor Lecture on “Obama’s Challenges and the Future of U.S. Immigration.” She outlined major immigration trends, federal policy reform elements, and discussed how the immigration debate has moved from the federal level into the states and localities. She then discussed the prospects for an overhaul to U.S. immigration policy in the new administration.
