Education Reporting: Evolving Mix of New and Old

How Americans view and get education news is changing. Digital sources are well in demand, but so are newspapers, which continue to evolve to meet the needs of news consumers today. These are among the findings in a new Brookings report, “Americans Want More Coverage of Teacher Performance and Student Achievement.” Based on a nationwide poll, the report offers key insights on how and where news is delivered, and how well education issues are covered.
